With increase in petrol prices, transporters increase fares

After the government’s announcement of increasing petroleum products’ prices, transporters have announced an arbitrary increase in fares.

Public transport operators have started charging arbitrary fares as the prices of petroleum products have gone up, while even cheap public transport has become expensive.

As the prices of petroleum products increased, the fares of buses and coaches increased by Rs 20 to Rs 30.

It should be noted that by implementing the conditions of the IMF yesterday, the government dropped an inflation bomb on the people by increasing petroleum products late at night.

The government has announced an increase in the price of petrol by 22 rupees 20 paise, after which the price of petrol has increased to 272 rupees per litre.
