The University of Karachi has extended the deadline for the submission of online admission forms for the morning program 2024 to November 23, 2023. Dr. Saima Akhtar, In-charge of the KU Directorate of Admissions, made the announcement and revealed the introduction of a four-year BS degree program in Sports Business Management for the first time.
Admissions for the academic year 2024 are being offered in various programs, including BS, BEd (H), BE, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Department of Visual Studies, and Doctor of Pharmacy for both morning and evening sessions. Dr. Akhtar advised applicants to submit their admission forms and required documents through the online portal by the extended deadline.
The University will conduct entry tests through its assessment and testing service, the "Karachi University Assessment and Testing Service.” A helpline desk has been established, and students can access information and guidelines on the official web portal.
Admissions are available in various departments, including Applied Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Applied Physics, Biotechnology, Business Administration (BBA), Computer Science (BSCS and BSSE), Criminology, Education, Environmental Studies, Mass Communication, Sports Business Management, and more.
The admission test is scheduled for November 26, and admit cards will be uploaded by November 24. Students applying to the Department of Visual Studies and Doctor of Pharmacy have specific eligibility criteria. The entry test for BS first-year and other programs will be held on December 3, with admit cards available by November 30.
