Sindh Health Department set vaccination centers at Karachi Cattle Market


Karachi’s Cattle Market has been facilitated with vaccination centers which will be operational from July 6. The initiative was taken by Sindh Health Department.


Considering the ongoing pandemic of Covid-19, the vaccination centers are set for the traders and the general public. Centers will be operational from July 6 and the public can avail this service round the clock.


SAPM on Health Dr. Faisal Sultan said, public are required to bring their CNIC in order to get themselves vaccinated. Talking about the vaccine he said, a single dose of Casino vaccine will be jabbed. However, those who are going to have their second dose, are required to inform the staff, he added.


Meanwhile, National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) in its notice issued guidelines for the Cattle Markets, emphasizing on their establishment outside the city’s locality.


Moreover, the National Ministry of Health also issued guidelines for Eid ul Azha and Cattle Markets, asking people to wear facemasks. It further said, the temperature of those attendees should be checked before entering to the markets.


Furthermore, it has asked people to maintain social distancing, sanitize their hands and wearing gloves before touching sacrificial animals.
