Before the city says goodbye to monsoon for the year, Karachi will experience one more spell of rain starting on September 23.
The spell is likely to bring moderate to heavy showers to the city, ARY News quoted the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) as saying. The department believes that the spell will last for two days and phase out on September 25.
Sporadic showers were also expected in parts of the city today (Sep 20).
The rain would bring much-needed relief to the city which experienced a short bout of scorching heat last week and is yet to fully recover from it.
