PMD predicts Rabiul Awal moon on Sep 27, Eid Milaadun Nabi on Oct 9

The new moon of Rabi ul Awwal, 1444 AH, will not be visible on the evening of September 26 (the 29th of Safar), according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

Therefore, Rabi ul Awwal’s first day will probably fall on September 28.

On September 26, 2022 (Monday), at 02:54 Pakistan Standard Time (PST), the new moon of Rabi ul Awwal, 1444 AH, will be born on the crossing conjunction point.

The evening of Monday, September 26, or the 29th of Safar, there is "no probability” of seeing the new moon of Rabi ul Awwal, 1444 AH, according to astronomical factors.

The weather is expected to be fair or partly cloudy in most parts of the country on the evening of Monday Sep. 26, according to the climate record.

It is anticipated that the 12th day of Rabi ul Awwal, which is Eid Milad-un-Nabi, would fall on Sunday (October 09).

On the evening of September 26, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is scheduled to gather in order to see the new moon of Rabi ul Awwal 1444 AH.

It is also planned to have a meeting of the Zonal and District Ruet-e-Hilal committees to gather information on sightings of the new moon at the offices.
