Initially delaying his travel plans due to the prolonged visa process, Zaka Ashraf is now scheduled to travel to India on October 12 (Thursday). The much-anticipated Pakistan vs. India match is slated to take place at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 14 (Saturday).
The Indian High Commission recently invited media personnel to submit their passports for Indian visas to cover the ICC Men’s World Cup 2023. Zaka Ashraf expressed his satisfaction with the resolution of the visa delay, stating that his conversations with the foreign office contributed to this positive development.
In a statement, Zaka Ashraf emphasized that he is traveling to India to motivate the team. He lauded the players’ performance in the World Cup, highlighting their victories in the first two matches.
