The Lahore T20Is’ costs have also been set at reasonable levels; they currently range from PKR500 (Dh8) to PKR3,000 (Dh50). The cost of tickets for Australia’s T20I here on April 5 varied from PKR4,000 to PKR500.
Usman Waheed, Director of Commercial said, “England is visiting Pakistan for the first time in 17 years and these matches will be a build-up to October’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. To ensure maximum fans can attend these matches and watch live some of the best shortest format cricketers from either side, we have decided to make the tickets affordable, ensuring families also turn up in big numbers to support cricket and both the sides.”
He said, "The first T20I also gives a chance for all Karachi cricket viewers and supporters to contribute to helping everyone affected by the devastation brought on by the monsoon rainfall and floods. By purchasing tickets, they may assist the PCB in contributing a sizeable sum to the Prime Minister’s Flood Relief Fund. Our country is united by cricket, so this is the perfect opportunity to show that, despite the challenges we face, we are one nation.
