Pakistan has made the decision to regulate the export of various goods, including donkey hides, chilies, and dairy products, to China, according to sources cited by ARY News.
Under the new regulations, donkey hides will be exported to China for processing. To facilitate this trade, Pakistan and China will sign four different protocols, which have already been approved by the Ministry of Law and Justice.
This development comes after China expressed interest in importing donkeys and dogs from Pakistan in October 2022. During a meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Commerce, it was revealed that China had shown interest in importing donkeys and dogs, prompting discussions on imports and exports between the two countries.
The decision to regulate the exports of donkey hides, chilies, and dairy products to China highlights the growing trade relations between Pakistan and China, as both countries explore new avenues for economic cooperation.
