Pakistan Post Office Karachi introduces NADRA counters for CNIC renewal and other services

In a move aimed at easing the rush and facilitating citizens, the Pakistan Post Office in Karachi has announced the establishment of NADRA counters offering various services, including the renewal of Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) and the charge of temporary addresses. This decision comes in response to the increasing congestion and demand for services at traditional NADRA offices.

Residents of Pakistan’s most populous city, Karachi, can now avail themselves of services such as CNIC renewal, B-form renewal, birth certificate issuance, and Family Registration Certificate (FRC) facilities at seven designated post offices. The NADRA counters will operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., providing citizens with a more accessible and convenient option for essential identity-related services.

The introduction of these counters at post offices is expected to alleviate the burden on traditional NADRA offices, especially considering the increasing demand for these services. The move reflects a collaborative effort between the Pakistan Post Office and NADRA to enhance service accessibility and streamline the process of obtaining crucial documents. Postmaster General Karachi is overseeing the implementation of these services, emphasizing the commitment to providing efficient and citizen-friendly solutions for identity-related matters.
