NIH decides to test wastewater from intl flights after covid-19 detection

Following the coronavirus’s discovery, the National Institute of Health (NIH) has decided to examine the wastewater from all incoming flights.

NIH has requested the implementation of comprehensive monitoring and checking of all incoming international flights in a letter sent to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

International flight wastewater samples will be regularly collected as part of the new regulations.

The task of creating a system for gathering these samples has been given to the aviation authority, and the NIH will train participants in the collection procedure.

The CAA will also be in charge of informing sanitary staff of the proper way to dispose of used water from international flights in order to ensure the security of those taking the samples.

This will include the provision of essential safety equipment such as jerry cans, gloves, long shoes, face masks, and face shields.
