The Sindh Health Department on Thursday released the cumulative statistics of Covid-19 immunisation via Sinovac and Sinopharm vaccines. According to the statistics released today a total of 5,107,024 doses have been dispensed to date.
The department said there was a total of 1,719,418 vaccine doses of Sinopharm out of which well over one million were administered as the first dose. Out of the second Sinopharm doses available, a total of 637,108 jabs were administered while about 5,695 were wasted and now 92,617 doses of Sinopharm remain.
On the other hand, the statistics say that a total of 3,387,606 Sinovac doses have been administered out of which 2,689,441 were administered as first jabs. 698,165 jabs have been dispensed as the second dose. Sindh still has 470,762 remaining doses of Sinovac vaccines while 8,632 doses were wasted.
