Nassau Stadium in New York is all set to host the ICC T20 World Cup, with preparations in full swing. Notable figures from the cricketing world, including Pakistan’s Shoaib Malik, Jamaica’s Usain Bolt, and other legendary cricketers, visited the stadium to witness its readiness for the prestigious event.
Nassau County Stadium is slated to host eight matches of the World Cup, including the highly anticipated India-Pakistan encounter, promising an exciting showcase of cricketing talent on American soil.
Among the visitors were Liam Plunkett from England, Sir Curtly Ambrose from West Indies, Corey Anderson representing the American cricket team, and Monak Patel.
During their visit, Usain Bolt and the cricketers participated in a special event where they signed a large cricket bat. This bat, adorned with the signatures of these sports icons, will be prominently displayed at the stadium throughout the tournament.
