The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) on Thursday announced the provision of a new service through which citizens will now be able to connect with contactless biometric verification.
The new function has made it easy for people to verify government documents including vehicle particulars through a biometric system available on their smartphones, thus making bank visits unnecessary.
The contactless biometric verification system has been launched by NADRA in collaboration with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). The online system was launched during the visit of SBP Governor Dr Reza Baqir to the NADRA headquarters.
On August 31, Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated the PAK-ID Mobile App by National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
