Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab on Wednesday took to Twitter to call on to Karachiites to own their city.
Sharing a picture of beetle spit, Wahab said: “Haye rey Paan ! #Karachi walon apna shehar samjho plz” (Oh these beetle spits, people of Karachi, think of your city as your own)

Bol News reported Wahab as saying that his only intention was to serve the city to the best of his abilities. He further said that the city’s parks will soon become examples of beauty.
The Karachi administrator also said that change is visible in the city and more splendour will soon come to the city. “There is no excuse to cry, all I have done is to try and make the city’s institutions stand on their feet,” Wahab said.
Wahab said that municipal tax was levied by merging different taxes and even then KMC could not achieve 78 per cent of its tax target.
