The annual board examinations of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) part one and two are all set to begin from July 5th, announces the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK).
The list of the candidates has been announced for class 9 and 10 annual examinations, and roll numbers have been issued to the students who are going to appear in the exams.
According to the details, a total of 348,249 students are going to take part in SSC exams for both General and Science groups this year.
As per the details shared by the BSEK’s Examination Controller, a total of 154,057 students are going to take part in matric’s science group, which includes 83,436 male and 70,621 female participants. Whereas, class ninth will have 156,512 students appearing in the examination, which includes 83,645 male and 72,867 female students.
On the other hand, as for the General group, 8,082 boys and 10,974 girls are participating in matric which makes the total of 19,056. Whereas, 18624 candidates are going to take part in ninth papers of which7,682 are male and 10,942 are female students.
Talking about the examination centers, the Controller informed that 438 centers have been established in the city of which 201 are for girls and 237 for boys. These centers include 185 public schools while 253 private schools are reserved for the cause.
