Match officials announced for Pakistan vs. New Zealand T20 Series

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the lineup of match officials for the upcoming T20 series between Pakistan and New Zealand, scheduled to take place from April 18 to 27 in Rawalpindi and Lahore.

Five experienced umpires have been appointed to oversee the matches, with Ahsan Raza and Aleem Dar leading the officiating team. They will be joined by Asif Yaqub, Rashid Riaz, and Faisal Afridi in ensuring fair play throughout the series.

Additionally, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has assigned Andy Pycroft from Zimbabwe as the match referee for the series. With a wealth of experience behind him, Pycroft has officiated in 144 T20I matches. His inclusion in all five matches of the series will solidify his position as one of the most seasoned match referees in T20 cricket.

At 67 years old, Pycroft’s appointment underscores the importance of his expertise in maintaining the integrity and spirit of the game. His tenure as match referee will contribute to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and sportsmanship during the series.
