Mardan declared loadshedding-free city under ‘Zero-Theft, Zero-Loadshedding’ initiative

In a significant development, Mardan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has been declared a loadshedding-free city under the "Zero-Theft, Zero-Loadshedding” initiative launched by the power division. This initiative, known as "The Mardan Model,” aims to eliminate power theft, improve recoveries, and ensure uninterrupted power supply in the city.

Background:

  1. Mardan had been facing power outages for more than six hours a day, impacting residents and businesses.

Launch of "The Mardan Model”:
