Just a day before the much-anticipated Pak vs Australia semi-final of the T20 World Cup, it has come out that Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Rizwan may be replaced by Sarfaraz Ahmed and Haider Ali.
According to Geo TV, both of the in-form batsmen have contracted the flu but both their Covid-19 tests have come back negative.
Pakistan cricket team media manager, Ibrahim Badees said Covid-19 tests of both players came back negative, but the doctor has advised them to rest. The players will undergo a medical check-up tomorrow before the match. Malik and Rizwan did not take part in the practice session that was held today.
Pakistan, which has been undefeated in the tournament, will take on Australia in the T20 World Cup semi-final tomorrow (Thursday) in Dubai.
