According to a statement issued by the Directorate of Karachi Region on Friday, the College Education Department Sindh has decided to establish a four-year degree programme in government institutions.
According to the announcement, the Bachelor of Science (BS) degree will begin at 30 colleges.
In this regard, a seven-member committee has been formed to oversee the affiliation of the BS programme at government institutions throughout the Karachi region.
"The committee will work in cooperation with this office to get the support of principals,” it stated.
