The construction of a flyover seeking to connect the Sakhi Hasan area of Karachi with Manghopir Road is in progress. This flyover is to be named Qalandriya Flyover. The flyover will start from Sakhi Hasan Graveyard and land near Manghopir Road.
The work of the flyover has been going on for several months and citizens have also complained about the slow progress of the work.
Now the work of cutting the hill coming in the way of this flyover has been started. The mountain is being cut with the help of heavy machinery to make way for the flyover.
On the other hand, the excavation of the pillars of the flyover is also going on due to which the road from Manghopir Road, Nusrat Bhutto Colony to Sakhi Hasan has become very worn and the citizens are facing severe difficulties in passing through here.
