A firing incident occurred in Karachi’s Saddar area last night, where an armed assailant targeted a vehicle, resulting in injuries to a citizen, as reported by ARY News, quoting local police on Wednesday.
The victim, identified as Nasir and working in a pharmaceutical company, was reportedly fired upon by an unknown assailant. Nasir, who had dismissed several employees from their jobs over time, stated that he had been receiving life-threatening calls from ex-employees.
Nasir was subsequently shifted to Jinnah Hospital for medical care, where the police officials recorded his statement. According to Nasir, "Last night an unknown person came, fired shots at my vehicle, and escaped.”
The police officials confirmed that Nasir’s injuries were not critical, as the bullet hit his shoulder and has been treated at the hospital.
The police are actively investigating the incident, focusing on the alleged workplace dispute as a possible motive for the attack. The statement from Nasir suggests a connection between the firing and his recent actions at the pharmaceutical company, raising concerns about the safety of individuals involved in workplace conflicts.
