On Thursday, the price of 24 karat gold per tola unexpectedly rose by Rs 4,900 and reached an all-time high of Rs 195,500.
The price of 10 grammes of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 4,201 to Rs 167,610 from Rs 163,409, while that of 10 grammes of 22 karat rose to Rs 153,642 from Rs 149,791, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
