Anti-encroachment drive in Karachi retrieves 133 acres of government land

In an ongoing crackdown against illegal construction in Karachi, the Anti-Encroachment Force has successfully reclaimed 133 acres of government land, according to Raja Tariq Chandio, the Director of Anti-Encroachment. The operation targeted various areas, including 35 acres in Memon Goth, Malir, 6 acres in Khar Khado, 56 acres in Northern, and 16 acres in Shah Murid.

Raja Tariq confirmed the presence of a land mafia occupying the government-owned land, and heavy troops of the anti-encroachment force were deployed to reclaim it. The reclaimed land is valued at billions, marking a significant step in the ongoing efforts to address illegal constructions and land encroachments.

He further stated that similar operations against encroachments would be conducted in other districts as well, signaling a comprehensive approach to tackle the issue.

This anti-encroachment drive is part of broader efforts to reclaim government land, and authorities are taking stringent measures to counter any resistance from those involved in illegal constructions.
