Afghan refugees without proper documents to be repatriated: PM

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar has issued a stern statement regarding Afghan refugees residing in Pakistan without proper visas or documents. He emphasized that those lacking the necessary legal paperwork would be promptly repatriated.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister expressed deep concerns about the illegal trade of weapons in the region, highlighting the dangerous consequences it poses. He revealed that these illicit weapons have made their way into the black market and are being utilized by non-state actors, including groups like the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), and ISIS. These weapons were reportedly used in recent attacks in Panjgur and Nushki.

Prime Minister Kakar underscored the urgency of addressing this issue and taking measures to curb the proliferation of illegal weapons. In addition to these security concerns, he also raised the issue of individuals who have infiltrated the country and obtained false identity cards. Efforts are underway to identify and rectify such cases.

The Caretaker Prime Minister’s statement emphasizes the need for both strong border controls and strict adherence to immigration and identification procedures to ensure the safety and security of the nation.
