Karachi: Imran Khan advised to avoid code of conduct violations by ECP

The Election Commission has issued a letter to Imran Khan on the preparations for the October 14 rally in Karachi, District Monitoring Officer Korangi has also instructed him to avoid violating the code of conduct.

On behalf of Election Commission, District Monitoring Officer Korangi has issued a warning letter to Chairman PTI Imran Khan, in which he has been instructed to avoid violating the code of conduct.

The Election Commission has warned Imran Khan that action will be taken against the violation of the code of conduct

According to the post, Imran Khan is going to hold a rally for the by-election campaign of NA-239 Korangi on October 14. These limits are also for the second phase of the local body elections. According to the code of conduct, gatherings, rallies and rallies are prohibited for local body elections.

It should be noted that the Sindh government has demanded to postpone the local body elections for 3 months and has also suggested that if the elections cannot be postponed then they should be held in two phases.
