According to PMD, daytime temperatures in the province are also expected to drop by two to four degrees Celsius.
In the next three days, maximum temperatures in Karachi will reach 36 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperatures will drop to 21 degrees Celsius. Saturday will be sunny, with a chance of rain on Sunday.
It goes on to say that humidity in the city will range from 80-92 percent in the morning to 30-50 percent in the evening.
The PMD forecasted the first winter rainfall across the country from November 4 to 7, with snowfall in mountainous areas.
From November 4, rain and wind thunderstorms with isolated hailstorms are expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa — including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Mansehra, Abbottabad, and Malakand — Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan.
The PMD predicts the same in other KP and Punjab cities such as Islamabad, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, Jhelum, Sialkot, Lahore, Gujranwala, Mianwali, and Faisalabad.
Yesterday’s forecast called for light to moderate thunderstorms with wind on November 6 and 7 in several cities across Sindh and Punjab, including Karachi, Dadu, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Multan, and Okara, as well as Quetta, Chaman, Pishin, Loralai, Bolan, Khuzdar, and Lasbela in Balochistan.
The PMD had also warned of landslides in KP, GB, and Azad Kashmir as a result of the heavy rain.
It has also advised concerned authorities to remain vigilant throughout the forecast period.
