138 Indian passengers take alternate flight home after ‘unfit’ plane gets stranded at Karachi airport

Engineers of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Tuesday declared the Indian plane that got stranded in Karachi as “unfit” for travel upon inspection at the Jinnah International Airport.

 

The Indian airline Boeing 737 arrived from Mumbai and was forced to make an emergency landing in Karachi.

 

An alternative plane, ‘SpiceJet’ SG 9911 has carried the 138 passengers stranded in Karachi to Dubai.

 

Indian Airlines SpiceJet flight SG9911 arrived in Karachi from Mumbai at 4:42 pm to take the passengers stranded at the airport for more than 12 hours.

 

Engineers of Pakistan’s national airline inspected the technically faulty Boeing 737 Max 8 and declared it unfit for flight, then transferred 138 passengers to the lounge of Jinnah International 

Airport 

The passengers were provided food and other amenities by Civil Aviation Authority.
