Like all previous years, a week has passed since Eidul Azha and Karachi has yet to see the complete disposal of animal offals.
The city’s air smells of rot in many residential areas with garbage and animal remains lining the roads of North Nazimabad.The road from Zia-ud-Din Chowrangi to Landi Kotal still has garbage piles, the rain drains at Sakhi Hassan Chowrangi are choking full of animal remains.
The main road from Askari Park to Sindhi Hotel is also lined with garbage. Designated offal dumping points in the residential area around Nishtar Park have yet to be cleaned up.
