Pakistan launches ‘Pak Hajj 2025’ app to facilitate pilgrims

Pak Hajj 2025 app

Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs has launched the Pak Hajj 2025 mobile application to streamline guidance and support for Hajj pilgrims next year.

The app, available for both Android and iOS, aims to provide pilgrims with essential updates and tools to ensure a smooth journey.

Saudi Arabia has allocated a quota of 179,210 Pakistani pilgrims for Hajj 2025.

As part of the preparation, 15 designated banks in Pakistan began accepting applications for Hajj on Monday.

The app, which was also used last year, includes features such as Hajj training schedules, flight details, and interactive maps of Mecca and Medina. Pilgrims will receive step-by-step updates through the app once they submit their applications.

Additionally, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced a groundbreaking policy allowing pilgrims to pay Hajj expenses in installments.

Under this scheme, applicants must initially deposit Rs 200,000 along with their Hajj application. The second installment of Rs 400,000 is due within 10 days of the draw, with the remaining amount payable by February 10.
