The circulation that was leading to rains in Sindh, including Karachi, has come to an end, according to a meteorological analyst. Jawad Memon stated that while there is still a possibility of rains in central and upper Sindh, Karachi is currently experiencing hot and humid weather typical of May.
Memon also explained that the country is currently being affected by a western wind system, but it is expected to disappear from Pakistan starting from May 7 or 8.
The recent rainfall brought much-needed relief to the residents of Karachi, who have been facing severe water shortages and power outages. However, the rains also caused flooding in some low-lying areas of the city, leading to traffic disruptions and other difficulties.
As the rains subside and the hot weather returns, the residents of Karachi are bracing themselves for another difficult summer. With frequent power outages and limited access to clean water, the city’s residents will need to find ways to cope with the scorching temperatures.
