In a tragic incident, a young online taxi driver, identified as Shahzeb, was shot dead by unknown assailants in the Safoora Town area of Karachi. The police discovered his bullet-ridden body near Safoora Chowk after initial inquiries.
According to the police, Shahzeb was traveling from Hyderabad to Karachi when the incident occurred. His father, Riyaz Ansari, mentioned that he had turned off the car’s tracker after finding his son’s mobile phone switched off. Ansari further explained that Shahzeb had booked a ride from Hyderabad to Korangi and then another ride from Gulzar Hijri in Karachi.
Riyaz Ansari traced the vehicle using the tracker and found it in the Sachal area. Concerned about the situation, he immediately stopped the vehicle using the tracker and reported the incident to the police. The deceased, married for one and a half years with a son, had no known enmity with anyone, according to his father.
