Under the orders of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Ministry of Energy declared on Wednesday that there will be no loadshedding throughout the holy month of Ramazan.
PM Shehbaz has mandated that energy be supplied continuously throughout Ramadan, and the government has given directions to power distribution firms in this respect.
The ministry has requested that power be provided during sehri, iftar, and taraweeh. "There will be zero load management an hour before and after sehr, as well as one hour before and three hours after iftar,” it stated.
It also stated that control rooms will be set up at the operating circle level to assure an uninterrupted power supply.
It also said that additional transformers and trolleys will be available in case a transformer fails to work.
