In a historic victory, Pakistan defeated Australia by chasing down a target of 141 in just 26.5 overs, marking their first ODI series win on Australian soil in 22 years.
Openers Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafiq set the foundation with a strong 84-run partnership, while skipper Muhammad Rizwan and Babar Azam confidently completed the chase with the loss of two wickets, showcasing Pakistan’s dominance over the last two matches.
Meanwhile, the Aussie batters were seen struggling against Pakistan’s pace attack and were bowled out for an all-time low of 140 in ODIs against Pakistan.
Despite some bounce and movement on the pitch, Pakistan’s bowlers, led by Shaheen Shah Afridi (3-32), Haris Rauf (2-24), Naseem Shah (3-54), and Mohammad Hasnain (1-24), dismantled Australia’s batting lineup.
