37,000 matric students in Karachi await mark sheets two months after results

Despite the passage of two months since the announcement of matric results, a concerning situation has emerged in Karachi, where 37,000 general group students are still awaiting their mark sheets, as reported by ARY News on Tuesday. The issue highlights a lack of interest and negligence from the caretaker government in Sindh and the educational departmental boards.

The general group results were released on August 25, followed by the science group results on September 28. However, the delay in providing mark sheets has persisted, impacting approximately 37,000 students from the general group and around 190,000 students from the science group.

This delay has created significant problems for students who require their mark sheets for various purposes, including academic pursuits and other applications. Additionally, there are allegations of result changes in the science group roll numbers from educational departmental boards, prompting an ongoing investigation.

Sources within the board have indicated that the printing of mark sheets was halted due to the ongoing investigation into the alleged result changes. The situation is causing distress among students and their families, emphasizing the need for swift resolution to ensure the timely distribution of mark sheets and address any discrepancies in the results.
