Karachi records over 7,000 crime incidents in October, CPLC report reveals

The Citizens Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) has released its monthly report, shedding light on the crime statistics in Karachi for the month of October. According to the report, the city witnessed over 7,000 reported incidents of various crimes during the period from October 1 to October 31.

Among the notable figures, the report highlights that 817 motorcycles were snatched at gunpoint, while another 4,396 motorcycles were reported stolen from different areas of the city. Vehicle-related crimes included the seizure of 25 vehicles and the theft of 182 vehicles.

Mobile phone snatching remained a concern, with the report indicating 2,446 incidents reported during the month of October. These statistics underscore the persistent challenges in addressing street crimes and ensuring public safety in Karachi.
