Various areas of Karachi received intermittent showers on Wednesday. While the downpour varied in strength in different parts of the city, no major flooding was reported from any part of the city.
PPP Spokesperson Murtaza Wahab, who may soon become Karachi’s administrator, updated citizens about the removal of water from various areas of the city via Twitter.
There was water on the main service lane of sultanabad & around safoora goth, the teams of KWSB, DMC West & East are working on site to clear the area.

All the underpasses of the city have so far remained functional & the pumping machines installed there have ensured that water is regularly pumped out. Good job by the municipal and development team.

Most citizens commended Wahab for his efforts, however, there were certain critics in the audience too, many of whom pointed out that the rest of Sindh also falls under the same provincial government and is often neglected when it comes to rain-related relief activities.
