In a bid to safeguard aircraft from laser light incidents in Karachi, authorities have decided to take stringent measures against individuals who target planes with laser lights.

An emergency meeting of the Environmental Control Committee was convened at Karachi Airport, chaired by the Airport Manager. The primary focus of the meeting was to address concerns related to bird activity and laser light incidents that pose a threat to aircraft safety in Karachi.

The meeting witnessed the participation of various stakeholders, including airline representatives, Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Army, Air Traffic Control (ATC), Vigilance teams, Local Government officials, and the police, among others.
