In a landmark meeting between Pakistan and Kuwait, Prime Minister Anwar Haq Kakar, alongside Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, engaged in discussions with Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Talal Al Khalid Al Ahmad Al Sabah. The leaders expressed their mutual commitment to fortify their bilateral ties, transitioning into a robust economic partnership.

During the meeting, both nations solidified this commitment by signing seven agreements amounting to billions of dollars. These agreements span various sectors, including food security, agriculture, hydropower, clean drinking water, and mining. The comprehensive agreements aim to foster economic collaboration and development between Pakistan and Kuwait.

In addition to the core agreements, three Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were also signed, focusing on culture, art, environment, and sustainable development. This multifaceted approach underscores the shared commitment to not only strengthen economic ties but also promote cultural exchange and sustainable practices.

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar's visit to Al Bayan Palace was met with a warm reception from Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Talal Al-Khalid Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. The welcoming ceremony included a guard of honor by the Kuwaiti Emiri Guard, and the national anthems of both countries were presented.

The Pakistani delegation accompanying Prime Minister Kakar comprised Caretaker Finance Minister Dr. Shamshad Akhtar, Caretaker Energy Minister Muhammad Ali, Caretaker Commerce Minister Gohar Ejaz, Caretaker Law, Climate Change, and Water Resources Minister Ahmed Irfan Aslam, along with Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi. The comprehensive discussions and series of agreements reflect a shared vision for enhanced cooperation, economic growth, and strengthened diplomatic ties between Pakistan and Kuwait.
