The Karachi Traffic Police has unveiled the route plan for the main procession of Youm-e-Ali (AS), set to be observed on the 21st of Ramadan, as reported by ARY News.

Scheduled for Ramadan 21, the procession commemorating the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (AS) will commence from Nishtar Park and follow its traditional course, concluding at the Hussaniyan Iranian Imambargah in Kharadar.

A spokesperson for the Karachi Traffic Police disclosed that the central majlis will be held at Nishtar Park to honor the memory of Hazrat Ali.

The procession will traverse from Nishtar Park to Empress Market in Saddar, passing through Numaish, MA Jinnah Road, and Sea Breeze. After passing through Regal and Saddar, the procession will rejoin MA Jinnah Road at the Tibet Centre.

During the procession, the designated routes will be closed for regular traffic, with traffic police personnel deployed to assist with alternative routes.

Upon the departure of the procession from Nishtar Park, traffic from the city will be redirected from Soldier Bazaar (Bahadur Yar Jung Road), Coast Guards, and Anklesaria Chowk to Nishtar Road.

Motorists traveling from Nazimabad to MA Jinnah Road will be rerouted from Lasbela Chowk to Nishtar Road and then towards Garden for onward travel.

Traffic from Liaquatabad bound for MA Jinnah Road will be diverted from Teen Hati Chowk to Jail Road and subsequently to Martin Road, with vehicles permitted to use the Jail Chowrangi Flyover and proceed via Jamshed Road, Dadabhai Noorji Road, Kashmir Road, and Sharea Quaideen to Sharea Faisal.

Similarly, traffic heading from Stadium Road to MA Jinnah Road will be directed through New MA Jinnah Road, Dadabhai Noorji Road, Kashmir Road, and Society Light Signal to Sharea Quaideen for access to Sharea Faisal.

Motorists traveling from Gulberg to MA Jinnah Road will be rerouted from Liaquatabad No. 10 to Nazimabad Chowrangi No. 2, then via the Habib Bank Flyover, State Avenue Road, and Shershah to Mauripur.

All traffic from Gurumandir Chowk will be barred from approaching the procession route and diverted to Bahadur Yar Jung Road. Vehicles traveling from Sharea Quaideen to Naumaish Chowrangi are advised to bypass Society Office Chowrangi.
