Karachi Police launches campaign against underaged driving in the city

After the Sindh High Court ordered for action to be taken against underaged drivers, Karachi police have launched a campaign against them.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Traffic police Iqbal Dara on Friday released a notification regarding action against drivers below the age of 18 years.

In the notification, he directed the traffic officials to launch a drive against parents and underage drivers.

Earlier this week, the Sindh High Court had expressed serious displeasure over the alarming number of road accidents due to teenage driving and directed the inspector general of police and DIG-traffic to take action to prevent them.
